The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating a fatal shooting in Powder Springs Tuesday after an Acworth man was shot and killed by Powder Springs police officers.
The suspect, Gustavo Guimaraes, 34, was shot after allegedly pulling out a weapon during an encounter with police, and later died of his injuries, a GBI spokesperson said.
