MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — The Port of Mobile will welcome a new riverboat cruise ship as part of American Cruise Lines’ Symphony’s inaugural Gulf Coast Cruise. In April 2025, local officials announced that Mobile was chosen as a Port of Call by American, as part of the company’s “most extraordinary year ever.”
The Gulf Coast itinerary is a one-way, eight-day cruise between New Orleans and Pensacola, with stops at port cities along the way. The inaugural voyage departed New Orleans on March 1 and will arrive in Mobile on March 6.
