A man was arrested after walking into a popular night spot in The Villages and taking a seat at the outside bar.
George Michael Barrett, 51, of Wildwood, was driving a black pickup at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Old Mill Run and Canal Street at Lake Sumter Landing, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. He began reversing against a one-way direction, catching the attention of a nearby deputy.
Barrett got out of the pickup after parking it, walked into City Fire and took a seat at the outside bar.
