VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Residents of Town Center neighborhoods say they have experienced a rash of recent car break-ins, and while the general advice is to keep doors locked, some are either leaving their doors unlocked or contemplating doing so as a way to avoid a costly repair when their car is broken into.
One of those areas is along South Corwood Avenue off of Bonney Road, with one victim catching the car break-in on camera.
