41-year-old Walker man sentenced to 75 years in prison

LIVINGSTON — A 41-year-old Walker man who was charged as a habitual offender has been sentenced to serve 75 years in prison.

21st Judicial District Attorney Scott Perrilloux reports that a Livingston Parish Jury needed less than one hour to convict Albert Watson, Jr., 41, of Walker, on possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

The case stems from a March 2025 investigation in Livingston Parish. At the time of his arrest, Watson was found to possess a large quantity of of methamphetamine, dozens of baggies for distribution, and a scale. Perrilloux said the defendant was also in possession of a cell phone which contained evidence dozens of drug transactions already perpetrated by the defendant, including audio of the defendant describing in his own words what types of narcotics he sold, the quantity, and what amounts…
