AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Residents are asked to avoid the area of South Washington Street near Wineinger Road due to a major gas leak.
Traffic on Washington is blocked south of Southwest 58th Avenue.
The Randall County Sheriff’s Office, Randall County Fire Department, Randall County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit and Atmos Energy are on the scene.
