Oklahoma City Couple sentenced to 16 years in prison after 2024 traffic stop

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — An Oklahoma City couple was sentenced to serve 16 years collectively in prison after an officer found multiple firearms, fentanyl, and methamphetamine in the couple’s vehicle during a traffic stop in 2024.

46-year-old Michael Dennis Miller and 34-year-old Sarah Jo Miller were sentenced to 16 years in federal prison in February for being felons in possession of firearms and engaging in drug conspiracy, according to U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.

On September 23, 2024, an Officer with the Union City Police Department pulled Michael and Sarah over. When the pair failed to present valid driver’s licenses, the vehicle was impounded.
