City of Milwaukee: Mayor Johnson selects veteran city executive to lead the Department of Administration

Danielle Rodriguez Nominated for Common Council Approval

Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson has named Danielle Rodriguez as his choice to lead the city’s Department of Admiration (DOA). Rodriguez brings decades of local government experience to her new position. She most recently headed the Operations Division of the city’s Department of Public Works where she led sanitation, recycling, forestry, fleet and transportation functions.

Her nomination as Director of DOA is submitted to the Common Council for its review and approval.

“Danielle has a record of leadership and accomplishment in city government. She also has my trust to lead one of the most complicated parts of my administration,” Mayor Johnson said. “We evaluated a very strong pool of applicants for this position, and Danielle rose to the top through the interview process.”…
