SPOKANE, Wash. — Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said a Sprague resident found a dead woman in his backyard Tuesday morning and reported it. Sheriff’s deputies identified the body as the missing 26-year-old Aspen Valdez.
LCSO has not established how and when Valdez died. The Lincoln County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of her death. Lincoln County Coroner and the Washington State Patrol forensic team are processing the scene.
