City Comptroller trying to hire former Human Resources commissioner who paid out $2M in benefits to deceased city employees

BUFFALO, N.Y. — City Comptroller Barbara Miller-Williams is looking to bring on a new executive assistant for the office of Audit and Control that will earn a salary of more than $94,000 per year.

Her top choice for the job is Karla Thomas.
