Warming up, Rain teases us later in week

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – As a ridge of high pressure settles off the southeastern part of the country, temperatures will go up in the coming days. Moisture levels will rise late in the week, but that ridge will deflect the most organized rainfall away from the Valley for a while. A few showers and storm are possible over the weekend.

Areas of morning fog Wednesday will give way to a mostly sunny sky. Highs at least in the mid to upper 70s; the warmest spots may hit 80 degrees.
