Miracle Riders rev up for cross-country trip to benefit CSU program

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – The Miracle Riders are preparing to head across the country for their yearly motorcycle trip to raise money for Columbus State University’s pediatric nursing program.

The group gathered in front of Frank D. Brown Hall in Uptown Columbus on Tuesday. Scott Ressmeyer, co-owner of Country’s Barbecue and founder of the Miracle Riders, announced that this year’s trip will begin on May 1.

The riders will continue last year’s “Pony Express” theme— with plans to deliver letters across the country along their stops. This 2026 group will include 14 riders with two new rookies…
