Gumbo, an 8-year-old pitbull, enjoyed his first Dog Day Out through the Riverside County Department of Animal Services. He spent the day visiting a park, getting a pup cup, and exploring the city. Volunteers described him as calm, independent, and friendly after an initial burst of energy.
Gumbo has been at the shelter since February and is now available for adoption with his fee waived. The adoption includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip at no cost.
