Meet Gunner at It Takes a Village in Evansville
This past week, I stopped at It Takes a Village in Evansville to take some video of the Pet of the Week. I found out he was actually at their Daviess County, KY shelter, and I had no intention of heading over to Owensboro. Instead, they introduced me to a guy who has been at the shelter for two years and counting.
Gunner Has Been Waiting Two Years for a Home
Hey world, meet Gunner. Gunner was adopted as a puppy but was later returned. He has now been at the shelter for a couple of years, waiting for his special family.
Good With Kids and Dogs, Full of Energy
Gunner is good with kids and other dogs, but not cats. He loves his ball and can do a couple of tricks. He is a boxer mix, so he needs a family that understands he has lots of energy and will be completely devoted to his people.
A Sweet Reunion Shows His Big Heart
While I was spending time with Gunner, one of the people who regularly cares for him pulled up. When Gunner recognized him, he went bananas. He was so excited to see him. It was incredibly sweet.
Sponsored Adoption Fee at Daviess County KY Shelter
Gunner’s adoption fee is sponsored, but his new family will need to cover the $15 microchip fee.
