An unidentified burn victim found in Downtown Berkeley died Friday evening. The Berkeley Fire Department responded to the victim, transferring the individual to a nearby trauma hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
At 4:59 p.m. on Friday, the BFD dispatched officers in response to a report of a person requiring medical attention at the corner of Shattuck Avenue and University Avenue.
