Argument leads to driver of truck to strike friend in hit-and-run crash, MPD says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An argument led to the driver of a truck to “intentionally” strike his friend in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night in The Heights neighborhood, police said.

The man’s injuries are considered life-threatening.

According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), it happened around 6 p.m. on Highland Street between Guernsey and Given avenues.
