MURFREESBORO, TN (WGNS) – A familiar corner in downtown Murfreesboro will again become a gathering place for civic engagement later this month. Murfreesboro Indivisible (MI), a local grassroots organization known for hosting peaceful demonstrations, has scheduled its next “No Kings” protest rally for Saturday, March 28, 2026. The event is part of a nationwide day of action and will run from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Broad Street and Church Street. The public is invited to attend.
Organizers describe the rally as a nonviolent demonstration focused on supporting the U.S. Constitution, democratic norms and the rule of law. Parking will be available in the public garage at 105 West Vine Street. MI leaders say they are drawing on years of experience hosting peaceful events to ensure the gathering remains safe, orderly and welcoming. Volunteers staffing the event will have completed safety and de‑escalation training, and the group is coordinating closely with the Murfreesboro Police Department.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, bring signs with family‑friendly language and come prepared to rally peacefully. Organizers stress that weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to the event. Participants are also encouraged to share photos and videos using the hashtag #NoKings…
