Bellevue West tenant sued after ice storm forces him from flooded apartment

BELLEVUE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Bellevue West apartment resident says he was forced to leave his unit after an ice storm caused pipes to burst and flood his bedroom, and he is now being sued by the property management company for breaking his lease.

David Stewart said the pipes in his bathroom burst on Jan. 28, leaving his apartment without water.

“My entire carpet in my room, it was flooded,” Stewart said…
