PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — The former Memorial Hospital property, which has become the target of vandals in recent years, could be put to use soon.
Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien admits the vacant site has become an eyesore for people who live and work nearby.
“I drive by that facility and it looks horrendous,” Grebien said. “It’s a private owner, private person, paying taxes. There’s only so much authority we have, so we’re holding them to it.”…
