SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning in the South of Market neighborhood, authorities said.
SFPD responded at 1:31 a.m. to the 100 block of Sixth Street on the report of a shooting. Arriving officers found one victim critically injured with gunshot wounds.
Paramedics rushed the victim to an area hospital, where they were pronounced deceased. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
