MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — “Detectives recovered more than 1,500 pieces of stolen mail following a months-long investigation. Over the past two months, the Mountain View Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) Detectives have been investigating a mail theft case that occurred in the 500 block of W. Middlefield Road in Mountain View.
During the investigation, CSU detectives worked in coordination with patrol officers to develop actionable leads. Subsequent follow-up by CSU detectives resulted in the identification of two suspects.
A few weeks later, the Mountain View Police night-shift patrol team located the suspects back in Mountain View and quickly took both suspects into custody…
