School, Tavern Cited in Latest Health Inspections

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Health Department cited a school cafeteria, a West Chester meat market and an Oxford tavern for food safety and facility violations during inspections conducted March 2, officials reported.

The violations were released as part of the county’s routine inspection reports for licensed food facilities.

At Aramark at Exton Elementary School, 301 Hendricks Ave., Exton, inspectors found yogurt, turkey sandwiches and boiled eggs held at 47 to 48 degrees at the serve line, above the required maximum of 41 degrees. The report instructs staff to repair or adjust the unit and monitor temperatures…
