LUBBOCK, Texas— Laura Russell, 24, was arrested on February 25 on multiple charges, including criminal mischief, public nuisance and two counts of bestiality, stemming from two separate incidents.
According to an affidavit obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Tuesday, March 3, Lubbock authorities were dispatched to Lubbock Animal Services regarding a complaint reported on February 5, 2025.
When officers arrived on the scene, authorities met with an official from LAS, who told them they had received an email on February 5 that included a picture of a person, later identified as Laura Russell, who was engaging in a lewd sexual act with a dog. Court records indicate that this email was sent to her by someone who was once in a close relationship with Russell.
