A downtown Shawnee taco joint that completed renovations on its building asked the city for a forgivable loan to help pay for it.
On Feb. 23, the Shawnee City Council voted 7-1 to approve a $75,000 redevelopment grant loan to Tiki Taco to help offset expenses for renovations to its downtown Shawnee location at 11200 Johnson Drive.
