ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – More than a dozen small local businesses were burglarized in the span of a month and a half, making off with cash, trading cards, and even a bouquet of roses. “I never would have expected a paint-your-own-pottery place to be broken into for sure,” said Art Attack COO, Dominic Gallegos.

A month and a half ago, Gallegos’ business was broken into. The man, later identified by Albuquerque Police as 37-year-old Joseph Montoya, pried the door away from its frame and walked right in. “He went straight to the cash register after he secured the cash register by ripping it off and kinda breaking everything.
