Grant Denton, the executive director of the Karma Box, told Our Town Reno the Jessica Hillman currently in custody is an employee of Karma Box listed on its website as a supervisor.
He said he was looking into the situation, when asked what Karma Box was doing about this. Her charges include allegedly exploiting an old vulnerable person. She joins two other former Karma Box employees currently in county custody, Mat Grimsley on a third offense domestic battery and another Eddie Luna following a pistol whipping incident.
Luna was dismissed by Karma Box after being charged in late February and now faces a $200,000 bond. Grimsley, a former Safe Camp supervisor, has a $50,000 bond.
