Anchorage police say a man was arrested early Wednesday morning after a stolen vehicle was found at a local motel.
Officers responding around 2:40 a.m. at the Puffin Inn on Spenard Road discovered the occupied stolen vehicle. The driver, later identified as 46-year-old Bruce King, was initially unresponsive but did not comply with officers’ commands once awake.
King attempted to flee on foot, ignoring repeated warnings from police and their K9, Kevin. The K9 was deployed and apprehended King by the arm, allowing officers to take him into custody without further incident…
