On Friday, Feb. 27, 29-year-old Monyuett Catrice Hinson pleaded guilty to felony murder in connection with the Sept. 24, 2021, death of Alverner Blanks in Bessemer, according to reporting by AL.com and Fox affiliate WRBC.
