Department of Defense awards Huntsville contractor nearly $60 million

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – A small business in Huntsville is taking on a big role in national defense. The Department of Defense has awarded Gray Analytics a five-year contract worth $59,535,000.

“Our foreign adversaries are trying to get access to our information every day, and our intellectual property is being stolen,” said President of Gray Analytics David Jarmon. “We have to protect the investments that we’ve made in defense.”

Gray Analytics is tasked with modernizing and automating the Missile Defense Agency’s systems engineering process. The firm will develop ways to protect classified information and communications. Jarmon said the Federal Government is making cybersecurity a priority.
