When Boogie entered the Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA) in Downey, California, it did not take long for staff and volunteers to fall for him. At just three years old, he showed a calm, loving personality and got along easily with other dogs, bringing a quiet warmth to his kennel.
Even with such a gentle spirit, Boogie faced a heartbreaking situation. He was placed on the euthanasia list because of a case described as kennel cough.
