COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The gallery of the National Infantry Museum was packed with guests Tuesday night to honor an icon in the Columbus community. The Reverend Dr. Jimmy Elder received the Chattahoochee Council of Scouting America’s Distinguished Citizen Award.
It was an opportunity to raise awareness about scouting and honor a community leader who exhibits the ideals of scouting.
