LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A Lancaster County man pleaded guilty to taking part in a shooting and attempting to hide the evidence, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
Isaiah Jose Diaz, 22, of the 200 block of Fourth Street in Columbia, pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy to discharge a firearm into an occupied structure, recklessly endangering another person, and more, after an incident that led to a residential shooting in November of 2024, the DA’s Office said.
According to the DA’s Office, Diaz, J’Vian Mendez-Gonzalez, a 19-year-old co-conspirator, fired a gun into a residence in the 400 block of Avenue K in Columbia Borough on November 1, 2024. Diaz, Mendez-Gonzalez, and another co-defendant, Caelan Natrell Brown, then hid the two guns used in the shooting at Diaz’s residence.
