Gainesville teacher case heads back to judge after complaint re-filed

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A Gainesville High School teacher who was removed from her classroom after calling a student a dictator is headed back to an administrative judge.

Commissioner of Education Anastasios Kamoutsas re-filed his complaint against teacher Lauren Watts in February.

A previous case was dismissed by an administrative hearing judge, but left open the possibility of reopening the case…
