MANITOWOC – Residents now have a new, convenient way to safely dispose of household hazardous waste.
Manitowoc County has expanded its Clean Sweep Program through a new partnership with the Brown County Hazardous Material Recovery Facility, giving residents a free, year‑round disposal option for acceptable hazardous waste items during designated days and times.
A new option beyond the one‑day Clean Sweep event
The partnership is designed to complement — not replace — Manitowoc County’s annual one‑day Hazardous Waste Clean Sweep event. The event is from 9 a.m. to noon May 16 at the Manitowoc County Highway Shop, 3500 State 310, Manitowoc.
Residents who can’t wait for the event now have a free alternative if they’re willing to drive to Green Bay. Those who prefer to stay local can still attend the one‑day Clean Sweep event as usual…
