UPDATE: Major crash on W. Pinhook critically injures pedestrian

UPDATE: Lafayette Police have more information on the crash that critically injured someone around 1 a.m. on Thursday.

The crash happened in the 1600 block of West Pinhook; police say someone was traveling southbound on an electric scooter when they were hit by a vehicle that also was traveling southbound. Then another vehicle hit the scooter rider, and fled the scene; and then a third vehicle hit the scooter rider.

The person on the scooter is listed in critical condition at a local hospital. The driver of the first vehicle that hit the scooter blew .225 on the breathalyzer. The driver of the third vehicle blew a zero. The first driver, Dakota Wagoner, 36, of Lafayette, was booked with DWI and negligent injury…
