After temporarily closing in January, Gig Harbor’s Tides Tavern has officially reopened.
“Our team has missed celebrating and making memories with you,” the business wrote on its Facebook page this week.
The kitchen maintenance-related closure occurred shortly after it was announced that Anthony’s Restaurants was buying the business, which was founded by Peter Stanley in 1973 and later taken over by his son, Dylan. Anthony’s confirmed that it wasn’t planning to lay off any staff and that it was “proud to carry forward (Tides Tavern’s) legacy” as the Stanleys transitioned into retirement…
