PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A child was taken to the hospital after being hit by a police vehicle outside of Peoria High School on Thursday morning.
The crash was reported just before 7 a.m. near 83rd Avenue and Shangri La Road, which is directly in front of the school.
Peoria Police said a juvenile was riding a scooter before being involved in a crash with a marked Peoria PD patrol vehicle. The child was hospitalized with “minor injuries,” police said.
