ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The parents of a fisherman who died after falling overboard on a fishing vessel being featured in a popular reality TV show are speaking out about the video of his death being released.
Todd Meadows, 25, died while fishing in the Bering Sea on Feb. 25. He was working as a deckhand on the Aleutian Lady, one of the main subjects of the Discovery Channel show “Deadliest Catch,” which showcases the challenges fishermen face while commercial fishing off Alaska’s coastline.
