Select Stuckey’s pecan log rolls recalled for labeling error

WRENS, Ga. (WJBF) – Stuckey’s Corporation, based in Wrens, Georgia, is voluntarily recalling certain pecan log roll products due to a labeling error, the Georgia Department of Agriculture said Wednesday.

According to the department, some “Cherry Pecan Log Roll” items were mistakenly packaged in “Original Pecan Log Roll” wrappers that does not to list cherry as an ingredient.

“Protecting the safety and well-being of Georgians remains our top priority, and we are grateful the establishment pro-actively alerted us to the potential issue so we could take corrective action,” said Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper. “Our food safety team works with state, federal, and industry partners to identify potential risks, respond swiftly when issues arise, and ensure that products on store shelves are safe, wholesome, and held to the highest standards.”…
