Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot near a day care in the Bronx on Wednesday.
Officers responded to East 183 Street and Hughes Avenue in the Belmont section just after 2 p.m., and found a 19-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest.
