DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — A man who was convicted of shooting his neighbor last summer has been sentenced.
Yordani Sosa Miguez, 39, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted murder and one count of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
The victim was standing in the front yard of his house on Flamingo Drive when Miguez, who was seated in the doorway of his own home, shot him without provocation on the afternoon of July 27, 2025. Miguez then told the neighbor to remain where he was and fired two rounds from a rifle.
