ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (WHSV) – The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man in relation to an alleged assault and abduction that happened Thursday morning in the Port Republic area.
Justin Neal Johnson, 32, of Waynesboro, is the suspect. RCSO said the victim was safely located, and the vehicle Johnson was using has been recovered. As of 11:30 a.m., Johnson is believed to be in Augusta County, and it’s unknown whether he has access to a vehicle.
Multiple charges are pending against Johnson, RCSO said. The matter is domestic in nature, and Virginia State Police is assisting RCSO with the investigation, which is ongoing…
