A major grocery store chain is planning a new location in the Midlands.
Publix, which has stores in a number of states, has signed a lease to bring a new location to Blythewood, the company said Thursday in a news release. The store will be at the northwest corner of Highway 21 and Turkey Farm Road, not far from Westwood High School.
“We’re excited to bring a new location to Blythewood and to be part of this growing community,” publix spokesman Jared Glover said in statement. “Our new location reflects our commitment to serving this area and delivering the experience our customers know and expect.”…
