ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) – Memories and more are continuing to flood in for the six U.S. soldiers killed in a drone strike at a command center in Kuwait over the weekend as part of the ongoing conflict with Iran.
One of the many from across the country who are honoring these fallen heroes is Enterprise Police Chief Michael Moore, who took to social media Thursday to share his connection with Cody Khork, the 35-year-old Army Reserve captain from Winter Haven, Florida, who was one of four of the soldiers initially identified Tuesday by the Department of Defense.
“When we first met and exchanged names, he simply said, ‘Khork… just Khork,’” Chief Moore said. “And that’s exactly who he was to all of us.”…
