Polk County man arrested for shooting an alligator ‘multiple times’, FWC says

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A man in Polk County was arrested for illegally killing an alligator on Wednesday, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

FWC officials tell 10 Tampa Bay News they responded to a report from Bartow police about a man who shot a gator illegally.
