At 4:42 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024, officers responded to a medical emergency and found an 18-year-old woman dead of a drug overdose, Guttenberg police said. An investigation determined the woman had ingested fentanyl, police said. Further investigation determined Joshua Burgos was the person who distributed the lethal dose of narcotics to the victim, police said.
Burgos was arrested at his residence in Ridgefield Park on Monday, March 2, police said.
