Hendersonville couple charged with child endangerment

A Hendersonville couple is facing charges of child endangerment after police reportedly found four children in conditions they said posed “an imminent threat” to their safety.

According to court records, Hendersonville police responded on Saturday, Feb. 21, to a Sanders Ferry Road apartment at the request of the Metro Nashville Probation Office. MNPO had reportedly indicated that Shelby Daniel Senters, 35, whose listed address was the Hendersonville apartment, had an active warrant for violation of probation. Police stated that Senters reportedly had been cited about a month earlier for possession of drug paraphernalia and using synthetic urine during a drug test.

Police reportedly spoke with Morgan Ashley Senters, 34, who was identified as Shelby’s girlfriend, who allegedly said that Shelby had left for work. Police reportedly received permission from Morgan to search the apartment and found dirty laundry that “smelled of mildew,” bathroom sinks clogged and filled with dirty water and a toilet containing unflushed feces…
