San Jose California Highway Patrol officers arrested a woman on Saturday after a violent crash that left her vehicle split in half.
Officers responded after a call came in around 8 p.m., reporting the crash of a 2012 Ford Fusion into a tree on Interstate 280 south of Winchester, CHP officer Ross Lee told SFGATE in a phone interview.
