TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A guilty verdict was returned Thursday for a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend over a dozen times in October following an argument, according to the Second Judicial Circuit of Florida State Attorney’s Office.
Martin Curry was found guilty of attempted second-degree murder and aggravated abuse of a disabled adult after a two-day trial, the attorney’s office wrote in a press release. The jury deliberated for two hours before returning the verdict.
The conviction comes in connection to the incident that occurred on October 11. That day, the attorney’s office said Curry stabbed his girlfriend in broad daylight while the two walked together on Aenon Church Road.
