The Brunswick County Commissioners are asking residents to share their concerns with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality about a proposed plan to divert millions of gallons of water from the Cape Fear River. County leaders warn that this could reduce the water supply for downstream communities, including those in Brunswick County.
